Consultation

I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to discuss your goals for therapy and review any questions you may have.

Fees

I currently do not take insurance but I can provide you a monthly Superbill for you to submit to your insurance.

I do keep some need based sliding scale spots available for those facing financial hardships.

I accept credit card, check or Venmo for payment at the time of service.

Cancellation Policy

I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel, please notify me within 48 hours of your session or you will be responsible for payment. If we can find a time to reschedule for the same week, I will do my best to accommodate.

How do I know if my therapist is a good fit for me?

This is the most important consideration in starting any type therapy and sometimes the hardest part! Processing through deep emotional work can be really scary and can feel uncomfortable at times, which is why finding the right fit is so critical. During our first couple of sessions we will begin to get to know one another and assess if we are a good match. I will ask questions to get a sense of why you are seeking therapy, what you are hoping to get out of our work together and what your expectations of me are. You'll also have the opportunity to ask about my practice and approach, as well as any other questions you may have about the therapeutic process. I've found that when the "fit" is right, we are naturally able to create a safe and reliable place for you to be able to show up authentically to help you unpack whatever may have brought you here.

Do you accept insurance or can I use out-of-network benefits?

Currently, I do not accept insurance. Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible to use out-of-network benefits from your provider. You will be responsible for paying for each session upfront, however I can provide you a monthly Superbill for you to submit for possible reimbursement. Most insurance companies allow you to upload your Superbills online and then will mail you a check with your reimbursement. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card for more plan specific information.

How often will we meet?

When beginning therapy, I find it helpful to meet with my clients weekly, at least for the first 6-8 weeks in order to get to know one another and be able to better address the reasons that brought you to therapy.  I may recommend that we increase or decrease the frequency of our sessions after that based off what we have discussed and your goals. However, this is a collaborative decision and we will always take into consideration any concerns or limitations you may have.
